Ridge Woodcarvers Club 18th Annual Art of Woodcarving Show
1. The show will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland Florida 33801. Admission is $4 for adults and children 12 years of age and under get in free. Save your tickets for door prizes.
Vendor Spaces (Those selling supplies and/or carvings.)
1. Spaces for vendors are limited. Priority will be given to vendors who have participated in previous shows sponsored by the Ridge Woodcarvers Club. Vendor sales must be limited to woodcarvings/wood burnings and items that support the art of woodcarving or wood burning. Woodcarvings, wood burnings, and other art for sale must be the work of the person manning the vendor space or a member of the immediate family. Items that support the art of woodcarving and wood burning are items such as carving/burning tools, sharpeners, books, videos, accessories, wood stock and rough outs and other items used in woodcarving or wood burning.
The Club reserves the right to reject any vendor’s participation that, in the Club’s opinion, is not in conformance with these requirements.
2. Florida Law requires the collection of sales tax. The vendor is responsible for the collection, reporting and payment of sales tax.
3. Tables must be ordered and paid for in advance. The Ridge Woodcarvers Club will provide tops and skirts for the tables. Vendors are required to use the tables, tops and skirts unless prior arrangements are made with the Club to deviate from the standard tables and coverings.
4. Any special requirements or requests related to vendor space must be communicated to the Club at the time the application is submitted. The club may not be able to accommodate unexpected special needs on the day of the show.
5. Vendors may set up between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the day of the show. The show opens to the public at 9:00 AM and all vendors’ merchandise must be in place by 9:00 AM and remain until the show closes at 5:00 PM.
Exhibitor Space
1. Exhibitor space is available for any woodcarver wishing to display their work. Members of the Ridge Woodcarvers Club will be given priority for tables. Tables must be reserved and paid for in advance. Exhibitors are encouraged to share space. The fee for each 8 foot table is $25.
