Membership, Meeting Times and Places

Business Meetings
On the 1st Tuesday of each month, September through May, at 6:30 PM carvers get together for a business meeting.  After the meeting there is a show and tell where members show and talk about their latest work of art.  A raffle is sometimes held and refreshments are always served.  Wood carvers and friends of wood carvers are welcome.

Meeting Location

Both the business meetings and the carving workshops are held at the Florida Presbyterian Homes, McArthur Center, 811 South Lakeside Ave, Lakeland, FL 33815.

Carving Workshops
On the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Tuesday of each month carvers gather to carve, share their techniques, and socialize.  People come and go between the hours of 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM.  Everyone is welcome. On the 1st Tuesday each month when the business meeting is held, carving is limited to 2:00 PM until 6:30 PM when the business meeting starts. 

Membership
Annual membership fees are $15 and are due in January each year.  Spouses are included in your annual membership for no additional cost. 

 

 

It's Show Time!

The 18th Annual Art of Woodcarving Show will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Lakeland Florida on March 20, 2010.
